Hello Edge!
It’s a Titanium with the 2.0 L Turbo four. I drove it from Baton Rouge to Houston today. It’s a real kick in the pants! Really, I was surprised at how much get-up-and-go this thing has. It’s rated for 245 hp, but it felt like more.
It seems like a pretty good size for an SUV. It’s not as big and bloated as the Explorer and it can pull up to 3,500 lbs when properly equipped. That’s enough for a small trailer or boat.
On the highway, it was quiet and comfortable. It handles a lot better than our old Explorer, but it’s not nearly as sharp as my WRX. That’s to be expected, of course. There’s plenty of space in the second row for adults to be comfortable and there’s lots of storage in the back. It easily swallowed all of my travel gear without having to drop the second row (unlike the Fiesta).
It seems they dumbed down the Sync system by removing a bunch of the options from the primary screen. Even so, it paired with my phone without any problems and Apple Play worked as expected. I made one call on the drive. Both my daughter and I could hear each other just fine.
Despite my previous biases, I found I really like the Edge. I think the power tilt could be better and I wish the seat would go a bit lower, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. I doubt I’ll be in the market for a car any time soon, but if I were, the Edge would be a contender. I’d have to drive the 355 hp ST version before making up my mind....

Very nice. Enjoy the new car.
I think the Kuga (your Escape) and the Edge are really good sized urban-off roaders.
Anything smaller, just get an estate or five door hatchback, anything larger, get an MPV.

That Edge Sport looks great in blue. One of the few SUVs I could see myself driving , but even used it’s tough to find a decent one under $30k...and of course in the US it’s a thirsty turbo V6, not a diesel.

If you don’t spec a Sport or ST, the standard engine is a Turbo 4. It’s not quite as thirsty, but it will never be as frugal as a diesel.
